Servers Upgraded

I've finished migrating the servers to our new computers, due to a problem with our current launcher you will need to download this file: http://www.ruff-rose.com/RoseOnline.exe to your ruff rose installation folder (and overwrite the existing file when prompted to do so)
We will release a full client or installer update soon enough, but for now please use the manual method (if you have any problems head for our forums to get help)
UPDATE: Donations are enabled again
UPDATE2: Installer for the loader update (you need this if you can't connect to the server after the migration)
Full 769 client (includes halloween patch and the updated launcher)

I've changed the "risk tolerance level" at clickandbuy, which means you're less likely to get the "security error" problem when donating for ruffrose

If you're having problems logging into the game it's because you need to change your password, read the forums for more info on the matter
To change your password you have multiple options on the User CP section of the site
Any troubles you might have, contact a gm, thanks
NOTE: If you login into the user cp you will be able to see some of the account info you might have forgotten

We changed the updater, you will need to unrar this file into your rose installation folder:
http://ch2.ruff-rose.com/newlauncher.rar
Once you've done that, open the new RoseOnline.exe file and it will automatically download the 766 patch

UPDATE: Some of you are having trouble with the patcher, check the forums to see if there's any solution for your problems. We will look at the common problems and fix them tomorrow, keep in mind you can still connect to ruffrose even if you don't patch, you just won't see the new content
UPDATE2: We've updated the patcher link with a newer version, redownload if you're having any problems patching (or just if you want the newest one)

Server is up with only security fixes applied, a full content and misc bugfix patch is scheduled to go live in a couple days time

Some people were exploiting a known but unpatched bug to acquire big amounts of zuly, servers will be down for some hours until a patch is ready (also patching some other stuff in the meantime).
We're considering a small rollback in case the illegit zuly is already widespread in the system (blame people who picked it up) but it's not sure right now.

You should be able to donate again, I'm not quite sure the automatic script will work so please contact us about it if it doesn't work (and your item will be delivered manually while we fix it)
UPDATE: There was a small problem with the automatic delivery, it's fixed now. Also, I've slightly tweaked the random stats algorithm so it doesn't give any +20mp/hp items anymore, and that kind of useless stats
Status of Ruffrose

First of all I will apologize for the lack of updates lately, as some of you know we've had internal problems in RR, and some gms have decided to leave us. We're still in talks with them and we hope everything can be solved as to not further confuse the community, but in the meantime I wanted to clarify that RR is not closing, and it won't ever close.
The only way ruffrose would close is if every single player left, and seeing as that isn't happening anytime soon, you'll have to bear with us for quite some more time

The not automatic placed items (while the donate script was bugged) will be handled in the next maintenance (wednesday).

Within the next 2 days we will give the lost donation items back to the affected people.
RuFF-Team Dear RuFF-Rose players. The Servers are online again. Characters were rolled back to the 26.th April. Server exp rate is at 500% for the next 48 hours so you can regain your lost exp. Ther servers could get down again (for needed reboots) but the downtime will be very short. RuFF-Team Dear RuFF-Rose players. We were again under massive attacks and our databases were involved. All game related services will be down. We will announce further informations as soon as possible. Sorry for the downtime we will have now. RuFF-Team All servers will stay down. security issues gave us no other chance. Hey guys, we just finished building a new installer for ruff that has the newest patch and also has the new updater!! This means that once you install this, you will be able to patch much faster then before, no more par2, and no more huge RAR files!! We are happy to announce that we have uploaded RenderMan's template and we think it looks great! Izar is back online now. We had to rollback to the 11th march because there was no way to fix all the problems. From now on we will do the database backupsīs in shorter time periods. We also decided to raise the rates a bit on Izar so you can regain your level really fast (droprate Equip: 175%, Money: 200%, EXP: 500%). We also have to bring Aegis and Athena offline for Windows updates and database backupīs (GMT 00:30) Athena and Aegis is offline due to connection problems. Login will be disabled till the problems are fixed. Please be patient, we try our best to bring the servers up as soon as possible. Thank you.
